When one man decides to hone the darkness to complete a masterplan years in the making, a mysterious guardian finds himself choosing two teenagers through an ancient ritual. Although wary at first, he decides to take the leap: they may just be the next generation needed to keep the work going. Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste may have never initially asked for the roles. But eventually, they learn they have to accept it.
