Anxiety and embarrassment surged through Sunpetal's body, making his heart pound.

a warrior striving to become accepted in his clan for his emotional trauma. He has lost several cats that were dear to him from predators, monsters and battles between other clans. He suffers painful flashbacks and has to excuse himself from gatherings, clan meetings and patrols because of them. Clan-mates assume that he's slacking off and deliberately give him the "cold shoulder".
