Disaster strikes in the humble town of Thomasville, Georgia as news of an outbreak reaches the south. In the middle of panic, everything seems to stop for one thing. Something nobody thought they would see out of a horror movie ambled in to heat of the crowd. The momentary silence is broken, and screams that had once been of vigor were now replaced with anguish.

For Evelyn Bartley, not many things had taken priority in her life. She lived with her single father at the ripe old age of 19, trying to finish her senior year of high school so she could high-tail it out of his dump of a home. Retaining a scholarship was the only thing on her mind.
That didn't last for long after talk of the virus started.

When zombies find their way in to Thomasville High, Evelyn is forced to shift her views to a new kind of survival. A new world has dawned upon humanity, and it's up to Evelyn and her group to figure out how to keep themselves alive. A goal in mind and months of travelling, an abundance of events unfold to reveal that zombies aren't just her only threats.

Will Evelyn be able to survive humanity?
