Act Right

The sound of the the lunch bell chimed in my ear as everyone including myself started leaving to go get lunch. I entered the the cafeteria waiting in the China express line,they were serving orange chicken which they hardly ever served. I got my food and made my way outside to where my VERY small group of friends and when I say small I'm mean only one.

"AYE Cameron !" I turned my head up to see no other than Daniel. He slugged his arm around me guiding me the opposite direction of where I was going.

"Yes Daniel?" I smiled, but on the inside was getting annoyed.

Can a sista eat her orange chicken in peace?

"You coming to that birthday party this Friday riiigggghhhtt?" I lifted my arm over Daniel's shoulder and slowly turned us back around to where I was originally headed to.

"Nooooooo" I mimicked him continuing to walk. He smacked his lips and scrunched his face up.

"Why?"

"I don't need to be stressed out about what I want to wear. Or be peer pressured to play any kissing games or illegall-"

"Damn girl calm down!" Daniel interrupted me. I rolled my eyes.

as if I can't really never calm down.

"Whatever" I left him still standing in the middle of the walk way as I sat down by my friend Natalia.

"I better see you at that party girl! It's gonna be lit I'm telling ya!" He shouted out.

"Hey so did you hear about how hard the test for Ms.jackson is going to be ?" I asked Natalia while opening my container that contained my orange chicken and rice.

"How was the conversation with you and Danny boo" she gave me the ' I know what's up' face and I just stared at her. Trying to ignore the Danny boo part.

"He was trying to see if I was going to that birthday bash this following Friday."

Irritated I looked back seeing Daniel now standing next to his friends.
