Alenna is a girl with many issues, and one of which is bulimia. After some very unfortunate occurrences in her teenage, and childhood, life, she's brought into a house with teenagers with many issues. From substance abuse, to anorexia nervosa, these kids are more alike than they seem. Alenna is lost, and confused, with why she's there, and why she has to deal with this place if she's not seeking treatment, but she didn't realize that she needed this group home for confused children. In Rosa house she finds out who she is, and how she needs to help herself. She realizes who she wants to be when she gets better, and where she wants to start. In this story written in verse you see how Alenna will fight and struggle with who she is. But in the end, she will come to see what life is, and why it's worth living.
