This is a book about a girl called Nonjabulo(meaning happiness in the South African language, Isizulu) her name doesn't even begin to describe her. She's a bitter and closed book only kind, caring and compassionate towards her close friends she's in her first year of high school which comes along with its many challenges. She doesn't allow any guy to come near her but all that changes once she meets Mandla a guy caring towards everyone and is an open book towards certain matters but he also has a troubling past that no one knows about. Find out how their acidic meeting and close relationship and if Nonjabulo allows Mandla into her life. Also find out about Mandla's past and how it affects him in the long run. And also affects their relationship.

Honestly, she had no clue why she was doing this. Most probably, it was to make someone learn from her mistakes or simply laugh at her life. Or she was just crazy. When she started, it was purely because maintaining a diary was boring and there was a chance that the people around her would know what she thought about them.
