She has risked all for him, kept him safe within her perilous world, she loves him and she will fight for him and now he must do the same or face losing all he holds dear...

This short is piece I wrote with a friend (@PhyreLord), and thus there are two speakers throughout. One voice (The male character, mainly written by me in the first person) is connoted by the bold font, whereas my friend's writing is connoted by standard font, writing a mixture of narration, the male character, and the female lover. The change from the conversation we were having and then actual story is represented by the line of dashes (----) separating two paragraphs. It is the first piece we've done together, but we both found it pretty fun and wanted to share it, hopefully it will move you as much as it moved us both writing it, and may it be the first of many!
Side note, there is no context that i can remember for the first line, it literally came out of the blue, and the resulting story is the conversation that spiralled out from it. This is quite literally a spontaneous story, but i don't think it could have gone much better!
