On the colonized planets of the XC27 galaxy, everything was peaceful and calm. The year is 2063. Technology in the 21st century has progressed beyond what anyone has ever dreamt of. Axis, with programmed loyalty to the mercenary and to the contract, suddenly has a glitch in his programming after an unexpected development during a mark which causes him to break from his prime directives and ignite a part of himself that Axis didn't know had existed.

Samantha and her squad are flying through space and preparing themselves both mentally and physically for the adventures of this new planet. No one knows what is going to happen when the spaceship lands on this foreign land.
