Alex has been having really bad nightmare's for a while now. They're so bad he's scared to go to sleep sometimes. One night he wakes up crying because the dreams have gotten that bad. Eliza points out a scar on his cheek that wasn't there before he went to sleep. That is the moment Alex realizes that whatever happens in his nightmares, will happen to him in real life as well. After a really long time of trying to stay awake, he falls asleep again anyway. When he finds himself in that place again, he runs into John. Alex realizes that some of his other friends might be there as well. And if they get hurt here, they might get hurt in the real world too. He can't let this happen, but he also can't protect everyone..

After he stops he gets weakness George's glasses (he has to be wearing them on his eyes) let's him see some of the future but it's limited. After he's done he has a headache. Pain depends on how long he goes into the future Sapnap's headband gives him speed 2 but he can't control how long it is. After 2 minutes he gets slowness 2. Bad's hood gives him flight but he can't go that fast. After he's done he can only jump a slab. So the 4 are just playing a casual manhunt with no powers as Dream stated in the rules.
