Nothing else known to the citizens of Panem can quite align with the horrors one can face within these arenas. Each year it changes, each year it's something new, and the Capitol can't get enough. Thousands of tributes have fallen before today, and maybe thousands yet are to follow. But who can resist the smallest chance that you, a tribute, may yet just survive? Who could pass up the chance to ascend to the roar of a nation as a golden crown is placed upon your head... 
        
        Sure you can try. 
        
        But some even say the victors never really win. No, to them the games are like a nightmare, reincarnated as an ever following beast that you cannot tame. They say that this is much worse than the games themselves... but now imagine if that beast and the games collide and as a tribute you're being hunted by so much more than fellow tributes... now imagine that you cannot run, and that you have nowhere left to hide.

On the One-Hundredth Anniversary, two twists are to be introduced. As a reminder that men have always been in the forefront of the war, this year's tributes will be reaped from the pool of eligible men in each district. As a reminder that no one can even escape the power of the Capitol, even at the very close chance of freedom, this year's tributes will be exclusively reaped from the pool of eighteen-year-olds in each district. --- It is the One-Hundredth Hunger Games and the Fourth Quarter Quell in Panem. Twenty-Four tributes are about to be reaped from their districts. To be thrown to the custody of the Capitol and to an arena where they will partake in a deadly battle on national Television. However, this year is special as the Capitol will not only introduce one, but two twists that will change the way of the games, forever. Choices will be made. Promises will be broken. Blood will be shed.

This year, 36 tributes will enter the Arena, and each one has a different perspective of the Games. Of all the competitors from across Panem, who will be crowned the Victor? Will Lacie overcome the other competitors? How about Soren, the brother of last year's Victor? What will Carlo and Seffie, two District 5 teens on the verge of love, do when they are Reaped together? 36 tributes will enter the Arena in one week. Some will fall in love, some will be betrayed by those closest to them, and in the end, all but one will die.

These Dark Days are not to be forgotten by the Districts. 500 years later, and the annual Hunger Games are still happening. This year, more tributes than ever were to be reaped as a reminder that no matter how many people try to rebel, the Capitol will always be the strongest. However, things take a turn for the worst during these games, with the tributes rebelling and the Capitol's gamemakers, hosts and president under pressure. Will the Capitol contain the Districts or will the tributes be victorious? Happy Hunger Games, and may the odds be ever in your favour!

What if the rebellion failed, the hunger games continued? These are the 150th annual hunger games! To remind the citizens of the failed rebellion the Capitol decided to hide ruins in the arena. Vivus Redis, a seventeen year old boy from district 13, is being reaped. Will he survive and see his best friend and family again? Or will he die a horrible death in the arena? And what's up with all these mockingjay symbols? "Why?!", yells Res as she enters the room. "I told you to not do that! I told you that over and over again!" Tears start rolling down her face again, washing away dust and dirt. I don't know what to say, it's like I don't have a voice anymore, so I just stand up and go to her. (all rights for the original story to Suzamne Collins; obviously)
