In the kingdom of Adiaren, there lived six tribes. The Hybrids, the Cambions, the Vampires, the Fae, the Angels, the Shapeshifters, and the Elves. They all lived at peace in their own separate territories. Until, Prince Morsumbris of the Hybrids' ascended to the throne. Rumors had been that the prince had killed his parents to assume the throne, but no one believed the rumors. Morsumbris was a cruel and ruthless leader. He stole from the other tribes, attacked their boundary patrols, and forced his kingdom into physical and mental labor. Soon, Morsumbris commanded the Hybrids to attack the Vampire tribe. The Hybrids attacked the Vampires and killed or imprisoned the whole tribe. The other tribes worried that they would be next, so the all traveled to Oracle Pond to ask the oracle want they should do. The Oracle answered with a prophecy,
"Find the girl of purple flowers and the boy of blood and fangs. Two shall come as forbidden friends before the Summer Harvest ends.
