It happens so quickly: one minute I think I'm having a moment with this blue-eyed stranger who offered me an empanada, the next, a girl crashes in on our conversation as she whines her way into the seat between us and right into the stranger's arms. What's more, she looks like those travelling hotties you see on Instagram who make sleeping in a tent in the middle of the forest in their underwear look glamorous. I guess life just isn't fair like that. Meraki Mori loves words, and has a fascination with words from around the world that the English language doesn't have a direct translation for. She sets out on a backpacking trip after graduation in search of these untranslatable words. But it seems she'll find more than what she was looking for after a chance encounter at an airport and the series of serendipitous events that follow. And maybe, just maybe, for the very first time in her life, Meraki Mori will find herself at a loss for words.

R: Is there a word for what we are? J: That depends on what we want from each other. R: Okay... Then what do you want from me? J: That. A lot of that. With you. All. The. Time. R: My kisses? J: Not just that, though. I want your jokes, your stories, your smile, and your laugh. R: Why? J: Because I've never wanted someone this much. A dull 15 hour plane ride becomes the best thing to ever happen to Rosie when she meets handsome Jackson as they make their way back to California from Vietnam. The more they learn about each other, the more they're afraid to deal with the fact that they might never see each other again. With all their new feelings that they develop, their fate remains up in the air. Who knew love could be found in the cramped row of seats near the back of a plane?
