The Treasure of the Moon

Once she had a happy family with a fun-loving mother and a hard-working father. Her paternal parent had abandoned her mother before she was even conceived, but her mother Mira found a loving husband. Peter raised her as his own child for the sake of Mira.

Now Ms. Natalie Halyk lives with Peter supplying the household with income and trying to balance a few college classes. Natalie's mother, Mira, was raped and killed in an alleyway while they were coming out of a grocery store. Natalie saw it all happen that god forsaken night. Peter now finds the solutions to all his problems at the end of a handle of dark alcohol, the drink of choice is usually whiskey. He has also found another outlet for grieving: physically and emotionally abusing the daughter he never wanted to adopt in the marriage.

One night it becomes too much for Natalie to handle all on her own. She attempts to find her own way by escaping into the night but is consequently halted by a dark van and three brothers who are trying to tell her that she is a supernatural weapon called the Halcyon. One brother, Lukas Onelle is indifferent and has only one goal as the Alpha of this Pack: Protect the Halcyon, and obtain this weapon to save the supernatural and human worlds, by any means necessary.
