Ever since Lucy heartfilia was five years old she has always been drawn to the sea. Not because she wanted to explore it but because she wanted to find her long lost mother. Lucy's father had told her that her mother had been taken away by mermaids and that she was in the ocean somewhere waiting for the chance to be with her family again. After her fathers death when she was only 17 she decided she had nothing to lose and go on a search for her mother. Little did she know she would find something or someone completely different that will change her view of the world forever
