Saving Cinderella

Everest Diana Wethers isn't a normal girl. Her nickname is Cinderella and to say she's damaged is an understatement. Her body is coated in a thick layer of bruises and cuts and she gets scared very easily. No one knows her story but Elton who sponsored her recovery in the hospital.

To everyone who sees her, Everest is a charity case. To Elton she's a little sister. To Colby Brock? Someone to be saved. He sees the broken look in her eyes and the soft shivers she gives off when someone touches her. He sees the scared glint in her different colored eyes whenever family stories come up.

"I can see your broken...shattered." His voice said softly. "Like a little porcelain doll."

"I know..." Her voice trailed off. Gently he tucked a piece of hair behind her ear.

"I'll take care of you." His lips pressed against her temple and her eyes slipped closed. She would probably never believe him but if he had to he would tell her every day.
