A fifteen year old girl by the name of Adeline Denarius yearns to be able to conjure storms. She lives a normal life until someone breaks into her home, her mother disappearing in the process.

  Adeline is kidnapped on a stormy midnight and tooken to the kidnappers home. She is deprived or food and water, close to deaths hands. After being tortured countless times, something stirs inside her. Suddenly, a bright flash and a rush of intense heat manifests, leaving Adeline blinded and burned.

  Adeline meets many others with different kinds or supernatural powers, in which they have created their own clan called "The Gods". Adeline decides whether to join them or to stray away. It's up to her to learn how to master her newfound powers to help her in her journey to find her mother, along with the challenges that face Adeline.
