Pykan, a winged girl, and her sister Laelyn live a perfect life with their parents, in a perfect country, a perfect house, a perfect city, everything is just perfect. Until the two sisters are attacked and separated from their perfect lives. They accidentally stumble across a very odd fellow who lives far from their country, Querencia. Will the winged boy prove to be a trusted friend, or in time of need be a traitor? Will Pykan and Laelyn get home, or will the task prove to be too daunting?
