While on the Island, Jason had to make difficult decisions. Decisions that changed him, changed those around him, paved that path he was to follow. Some where for the best, other's....not so much. He could have gave up on his friends and remaining brother and found a way to escape the Island, but he chose to stay. He could have become a King, slit the throats of his friends and stayed with Citra, he chose to set them free. He could have killed Vaas the few chances he had before the attack on his camp, but he chose to sleep with the Pirate King instead. As a result of his decisions, his friends where safe, back in California, Citra was dead, the Rakyat are hunting him like an animal, and he is raising a child who doesn't know that it's father was killed by her own mother.
