Makoto lives with his mother, brother, and sister in a town near a dragon's lair. One day, he declares that he will kill the dragon. Later that day, he leaves the town to fight the dragon. However, she is stronger than he had anticipated and captures him. She keeps him for company because she thinks that he is interesting. While Makoto is kept in a cave away from society, an apocalypse begins, threatening the lives of everyone he cares about.
