Alucard is cursed to forever roam the Earth fighting and suffering. His mother was killed by human hands; burned by the church because she was believed to be a witch. After defeating Dracula alongside Trevor C. Belmont, Alucard goes and puts himself to rest.
15 years later a vampire huntress, by the name of Aileen, hears rumors about the resting dhampir. She makes it a goal to find and rid of him, but in the process, she finds herself attracted to despair.
