❝A gender-switched, urban Cinderella Retelling❞

Violette Murphy had everything, but now she has nothing at all. The death of her best friend has left her life dangling at the edge of a thread, threatening to break apart at any moment.

However, when presented with an opportunity to go to her school's masquerade ball, she can't help but take it up. The sole reason for her going was to take her mind off of her disastrous existence; she most certainly did not expect to develop an unlikely friendship with a socially-awkward boy. Hidden behind their masks, they form a connection that neither of them expects can happen.

But at twelve o'clock, her mask comes off.

And at twelve o'clock, the boy runs away.
