A siren. A mythical creature of the sea that lures sailors to their death with her hauntingly captivating voice. The power of a siren is one to be afraid of, not one to be challenged. 'I suppose I couldn't help myself. I hated that cocky smirk on her perfect pink lips. Or the way her aqua eyes glittered like gems. Or the way the moonlight shone against her flawless glowing skin the night I met her.' ~~~~~~~~~~ David is a man of the sea. Or so he says. In actuality, he is just a cabin boy on a sailor ship. One night as he mopped the deck by the light of the stars, he saw someone in the shadows hopping on deck. "Who's there?" He called out. The figure looked at him, surprised to find someone awake at this hour. She stayed silent. David held his mop out in front of him like a spear in some sort of lame attempt at a threat. He attempted to glare at the stranger, but ended up looking like he had something wrong with his face. A tinkling laugh ran out across the water. "Oh, me?" A melodic voice answered. The figure stepped forward into the moonlight to reveal a girl of about 16 with piercing teal eyes, and hair that almost seemed white in the darkness of the night. "I'm just your worst nightmare, and your best dream."
