The ocean never forgets.
When the waters of the sea turn dark and icy, the superstitions which surround the island reappear once more. Tales of a curse emerge when experienced sailors go out to the sea, never to come back... alive that is. The islanders are scared... and very confused.
Why has the sea witch opened up her business again? Why do the seals circle the beach with unwavering eyes? Why are people dying?
One person knows and she is searching for the one thing which may stop it. Her selkie coat- which carries the remnants of her previous life but she is full of despair.
For the islanders are well versed in their sea lore and selkies are benevolent creatures. Arine knows that they will not listen to her tales that it is the selkies who are doing this.
Nevertheless, her selkie coat has never been so precious. It does not just carry her life, but the lives of all who inhabit the island. The only question is: can she undo the curse?
For once the tide has turned, it cannot be stopped.
