After being wrongly accused of murdering his own family, Richard Flint finds himself thrown into prison. One day, when the prison guards seem to be missing, and gunshots are heard all throughout the compound, Richard and his friend, Rasc, attempt a prison break. Only to be met with a wall of the living dead.

"Have you found the antidote yet?"
"Not yet, sir. Half of our researchers are working on it."
"God damn it! The next time I come in here, and it hasn't been found yet, I'm injecting one of you with the virus. Find that antidote!" He bellowed in fury stalking out of the room.
The door to the brightly lit lab slammed shut, and the ten occupants stared at each other with cold eyes.
"If we don't have the antidote the next time you come in here," one of the scientists growled at the door, "We'll feed you to the virus."
The starving dead behind them pounded on the glass wall, moaning with consent.
