The Parallels
Everything changed when that power plant exploded, when the two worlds combined. Everybody has a doppelganger, a much darker, much more sinister doppelganger. Nobody trusts them and for a good reason. They're dark. They're terrifying, full of morose speech and unusual hobbies. But both worlds have decided to co-exist until they could find a way to fix this problem. It's been a year since the merge happened and Matthew has just started university. Researcher John begins his job working with the SCP foundation, having no clue of the horrors they are hiding. While John is working with this foundation, he learns many things. Some for the better, some for the worse. Whenever an alarm is set off, it's nothing much. That is, until it's much more than just "a pipe burst..." This was a rushed project I had to complete in under 9 months, so it might not be the best storytelling ever. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy! I do plan on making another book with the same characters. Not sure when, but I do imagine it will happen.
