After a nameless magician fails grants his own one wish, someone interfered from him going to another mirror. The blonde magician soon appears in a book that Princess Kora, the girl that he fell in love with, wrote.
He is found by a runaway of the "Stone" village that's unknown in Cloud territory. Lake, the runaway, takes the nameless magician to Kokaeno, the ancient "City of Water", which is Lake's next stop where he'll settle down.
Lake trusts the magician as he has granted Lake a single wish already: for his family to never find him. And, wish granted; Lake is now in a disguise 16 hours of each day under the name of Alek Bollard.
Once in Lilly-Nona, the Broken Village Frozen in Time, also the village before Kokaeno; they go on their separate paths for the time being as Lake Rae, runaway Prince of Yakimou, suddenly appears before the magician, dead.
Half of the nameless magician's soul is ripped from his body as his magic caused a rebound. With the remains of his soul, he vowed to find the Killunia that locked his soul in Kora.
