Hi there. My name is Azalea Blackthorn and right now, I think I might be dead. Yep, drowned in a pool after my best friend ends up getting pushed into the pool, right on top of me. I hit my head and what little air I had left leaves my body as my world goes dark and water fills my lungs.
Well, until I wake up spluttering and coughing water all over the guy who just saved me, who just so happens to be the most popular guy in my school as well as my secret crush.

I jumped up and looked around my room. I had the same dream again. I sighed and wiped my face, I got outta bed and walked into the kitchen. I poured me a glass of water. I turned around and squealed. Nothing could compare to the way her gaze made me feel. The flames licking my skin and the raging fire in my veins was way more bearable. Okay, so here's how it all began. Basically, teenagers have been vanishing across the country and no one has the foggiest idea what's going on (myself included). But at the end of the day I've got bigger things to worry about, such as the eternal hell that is the last day of high school and my psychopathic chemistry teacher.
