Grace Louise Anderson had the hardest of life's. She spent most of her childhood bouncing from home to home, not having a permanent place to stay. She was abandoned as a baby. Her mother had her and didn't want her so she dropped her off at the foster home anonymously. The only thing she had was a name.

When Liz Forbes, sheriff of Mystic Falls decides to take Grace in, she finally finds what she's been looking for; family.

Her life was finally making a turn for the better. That is, until Klaus Mikaelson moves into town with an interest in Grace. He wants to know everything about her. Her fears, what she wants to do with her life, what she loves, etc.

But Grace wants nothing to do with him - He's the bad guy. He isn't possibly someone that could have feelings for her. Besides why would he want her anyway?

Nobody in her entire life has ever wanted her.
