"Laughter. It's an odd thing to me.
Sometimes my laughter is fake. It's like when children play pretend, but instead of pretending to be batman, a doctor, or a king, I pretend to be laughing, enjoying myself. It's odd because I sometimes even fool myself that things actually are okay, but when I'm on my own reality crashes down on me and I realize I'm still in that hole I fooled myself I was out of."

Growing up, I always thought that there was something terribly wrong with me. Because while everyone else had no problem blindly following orders, I had always been more curious. I realized I wasn't the only one when I met my friends. We came up with a whole plan to wait until graduation and then leave. We were so close, until it all went backwards. All this time we thought that it was unlivable atmosphere outside of the barriers. That no one else dared to be curious. Turns out there was a real good reason for that.
