As a girl named Amanda goes off to find her mother after she is kidnapped. She firsts meets this boy named Jacob who sets out to help her find her mother. As they get to know each other their love becomes stronger not only for each other but for their close friends and family. Little does Amanda know that Jacob is a shadow hunter nor does she know that she may become one too.
