My name is Revelation. Absurd? You bet it is.
But no my parents are not crazy. Maybe a little bit, but aren't we all?

Okay, my actual name is Oluwafimihan (Don't try to pronounce this, you might need a tongue surgery to untangle your tongue). But since Revelation is the English equivalent of my name, I just go by it.

I am a 17 year old international student, Currently a Chemistry major at UMBC. I'm from Nigeria, a country in the western parts of Africa where we wear leaves, eat each other for dinner and think that America is heaven.

Joking!! But there might be a little truth in the America is heaven part.
Life was going somewhat perfect for me. I was adjusting to the American environment, my grades were excellent (Although my mother would've gotten on the first flight to Baltimore from Nigeria if one of my A's dropped to a B) and most of all my spiritual life was noticeably better.

But, there is never a perfect scenario in life right? Even in books or movies. There has to be a plot, a twist or an abnormality. Something that intrigues but yet challenges us. That is just the way life is and I have come to embrace that glaring fact.

I met a boy. Typical rude, angry and highly opinionated young adult.
He questioned every single thing I believed in and I made a mental promise to be the person that causes a positive change in his life.

A popular Bible verse says "Bad company corrupts good manners"
If bad company is capable of corrupting good manners then to what extent can good company influence bad manners?

*please I wrote this story at 16/17. I'm 28 and I crying because I would rewrite this in a heartbeat especially coz I sound crazy* so read with caution* I fell in love. I fell in love with a fairytale. Oh Yes I did. You know that one story that gives every little girl hope out there that good things comes to those who wait even in rare but simple gems like a glass slipper. This hope carried me far and beyond. It's a fairytale that is relatable to any prospect of life. There will be your evil stepmother and evil stepsisters, your fairy godmother and your one true prince. It is a fairytale that understands the element of surprise: That what we seek can sometimes appear right in front of us without knocking on our doors. Most especially, it's a fairytale that understand the importance of love: A true prince may not come in shape of perfection but regardless of the imperfections and flaws, he would still remain perfect in your eyes. Regardless of its flaws, Africa was my father and Nigeria was my prince. Africa was my birthplace, born to the greatest warriors on the planet: Shaka Zulu, Nelson Mandela, Cleopatra, Kofi Annan even Didier Drogba the famous footballer. Most especially it was my home. It was the place I learnt to walk, talk, run and now 200000 feet above the ground I look down at my home. Little lights flickering everywhere like fireflies contrasting with the dark night. Maybe one day I will come back to my father. My prince. My Ile.

"What?" Ethan says in his all too familiar deep, rude voice. Ethan has pitch-black hair, is 6 feet tall, with a solid build. His deep grey eyes are glaring at me right now. His jawline is so sharp I'm sure it can cut through anything. "You hit me, spilling my coffee all over me," I say, pointing out the obvious. "So, what do you want me to do about it?" he asks, like he's done nothing wrong. "You're supposed to say sorry," I say in a duh tone. "And why should I?" "Because that's what people with manners do." "I know that, but you don't deserve a sorry from me." "Wow. And why is that?" "Because black bitches like you don't deserve it," he says with a sneer. "I have told you times without number to stop calling me that," I say, angry at his insults. "Make me," Ethan says, taking a dangerous step closer. I don't say anything but hiss and walk past him. I don't know why I expected him to apologize. It's Ethan, after all. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ethan is a young male about to get his first degree, he might look normal to the world, but don't we all have our demons inside. Ethan has a problem that he feels hatred is the best way to cure it, but one lady proves him wrong. Adina is a beautiful young girl who is also about to get her first degree at the same university as Ethan. Adina is full of life and dislikes anyone who thinks they can bully her. Ethan is hell-bent on bringing hell down on Adina, and she is determined to shove it up all the way into his ass. They are both opposites, but they say opposites attract one other. What happens when a significant incident changes all that. How do these two different people deal with a feeling that is supposed to be forbidden to feel for each other?

I DO NOT OWN OBEY ME! I am a just a fan, that's it. During selection time and they are looking for a exchange student. The events play out as regular but this is what's happening during the time you don't interact with Diavolo. He has another life, one that many don't know about. Brianna was the runner up to be selected but life had another purpose for her. It has nothing to do with the story (more like a novel), but it does in some elements of an actual story but it's completely fiction! I do not speak in pronouns I don't know what that means, I speak from a female POV only. My story does involve actual places and establishments, I haven't personally been to these places, but I do one day. Places like Florida, teamLab Borderless, Tokyo Skytree, and the Shinuya Crossings. Real! This is also my first time doing this and I'm really excited! And please excuse the jumps from first person to third person. It's like a my story and narration mix. I am correcting it. But again, enjoy!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~DISCLAIMER ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I love smut talk, I eat it up. So this stories have a lot of in great details of sex, and sexual activity. If this is not your cup of tea, I completely understand. However I will not tone it down, this is now I love it. Secondly I cuss a lot. So it will have a delicious amount of foul language, if this is still not your cup of tea, I completely understand, I will not change. This is completely the art of fanfiction. It's was created in my perverted little mind, and I was quiet happy to type it out for everyone. I encourage comments and feedback, doesn't mean I will listen to it but it is greatly encouraged. To me it means that someone is slightly interested regardless if they are put off by it. Please enjoy, I have another in the works.

The teenage period is usually not always easy. You make mistakes, you learn from them. It's like a moulding phase towards adulthood, which tends to be harder than adults make it sound. Especially in this generation. Growing up in a society where having a psychological condition means you're a freak, abnormal or an attention seeker. Where gender inequality is still seen as normal and right. Where anything other than Heterosexuality means you're possessed or the spawn of the devil. Where showing your emotions as a guy means you're soft and weak, because toxic masculinity isn't seen as a problem. Also, having anything to do that's related to these "atrocities" means you're set for an even bigger social stigma. Being a teenager becomes harder than hard. Just a group of teenagers trying to find a place for themselves in midst of a backward society, realising that life can't be all black and white. Growing in an African home is hard but what's harder is being a Nigerian. O le gán. "It is better to be hated for what you are, than to be loved for what you're not." -André Gide
