This story is based on the YouTube video by The Stupendous Wave, detailing what might've happened if Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader had survived the second Death Star (I also added a few extra scenes). The storyline belongs to The Stupendous Wave (except the extra scenes I added), and some of the wording from the original video is also repeated in this "what-if" story. However, I will admit that along the way, much of this short story was morphed into basically Anakin cuddling his children (which was something that I personally wanted to see happen). I know this strays from the original plot line, and I'm sincerely sorry, but I simply couldn't fight the urge to add these extra, "fluffier" scenes. (Again, I'm sorry if you'd rather have read a version that stuck solely to the original Youtube video.)

This is a story about Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala if Anakin never became the greatest Sith Lord and Padme never passed in child birth. Anakin left the Jedi order due to having children yet he still tries to make Naboo (the planet he's currently living on) a peaceful and safe environment for him and his family. I know I am using the years BBY in this book however I'm not going to write about the Battle of Yavin as it wouldn't make sense in this book. In the original movies Leia's last name is Organa due to her adoptive parents however in this story it is Skywalker like her fathers.
