Barbara Gordon has learnt a lot working under Batman as Batgirl. But when she feels her skills and efforts her unappreciated, she takes it upon herself to prove her worth to Batman. But nothing is simple in Gotham City and complications cause Barbara having to regain Batman's trust and finding out what it really means to be Batgirl.
