Alexandra Adara, a brown haired junior in high school, is a simple girl with a simple mind. She is more of a follower than a leader. She goes by a schedule, or notes that are written in a musical score. She is directed in life. She also had everything planned out.

Up until her mother's death.

She and her father move to a town named Elmira. Alexandra's plans are completely lost as she entires the High School Elmire High.

Unlike some who transfer, she fits in perfectly with a popular group of people. She easily makes friends with one of the smartest people in school Evelyn. Evelyn shows Alexandra the way of the school. She tells Alexandra who to talk with, who to avoid, when to be somewhere, why some of these things happen, and things she finds important.

Alexandra leaves to go home when she spots a girl in bright red, sitting on a bench in the school's famous garden. Evelyn tells her to avoid that girl especially, but Alexandra is so curious that she goes over to the small girl on red.
