Blake is someone who lived a messed up life as a kid, a 'so called' "sob story".
Blake looks back on the past and takes us on a walk down memory lane that is triggered by an email that Blake receives in the present.
Traumatized by the past, but also traumatized by having multiple people call Blake's past a "sob story", Blake so badly wants to tell her story without people having to think it's a "sob story".
Blake simply want's her voice to be heard and to reach out to those, who she feels, needs to be heard as well.

How will Blake react to the memories?
And will Blake finally have her voice heard?

After all these years, will Blake finally be able to find closure with the past?
Will Blake succeed in telling the story of the past and have people finally settle the dispute once and for all, deeming it as NOT as sob story?

Let me be straight up and say, this is extremely unedited. I wrote this in the notepad on my phone a couple years ago when I was in an entirely different place in my life. It's not the best, there are a few holes, but I had fun writing it and I love my characters, so do with this information what you will. If you hate it don't read it. 10 years. 10 years of hating Griffin Taylor. Luckily for me, he lives hundreds of miles away and I very rarely have to handle the knowledge he's in town for his 48 hour visits. Some supposed best friend he turned out to be. Mum and dad would have screamed at him for hours for missing the things he did. Though, Griffin Taylor never did care about other people's feelings. I always thought I wasn't apart of that rule. That I was different to him. His best friend. His rock. No call. No text, no message through his mum or his brother. Nothing. Mine and Piper's world collapsed from under us. Total strangers on the outskirts of town showed their love and support. But Griffin? He showed up 18 months later with barely a word before taking another life altering phone call. Ass. Now, 6 years after I last had the pleasure of being in his almighty presence, Piper made the overwhelming, stupid decision to invite him to her wedding. It's fine. I do what he says and start walking towards the exit, but I look over my shoulder one last time before I'm too far in the crowd to see anything.
