Before reading this, I'd like you to think to yourselves if you're capable enough to comprehend the fact that this story will make you question your very existence. And no, this is not just another science fiction book with a complicated plot. It's a different, eye-opening story about what we all refer to as "life".

  This story might be based on a scientific theory, about the afterlife, but on it are weaved the magical adventures of a young astronaut, Heather Reynolds, who is lost in space. She will get to see the afterlife, and be given a mission which will lead her to the actual location of the Lost Atlantis.
  And beware, plot twists ahead...

  However, those of you who weren't satisfied by the above description, don't worry. This book is for everyone. Do you want Mystery? Do you want Science Fiction? Are you into Adventures? Maybe a little bit of Romance?
  It's all in there.

  Let's take a glance at the story:
  ~~~
  "Let me in!" Heather screams despite the fact that her voice cannot be heard in space.
  The person on the inside approaches her in question. He goes for the door quickly, but when he recognizes her he stops.
  She knew her life was doomed. She knew that there was no going in the spaceship. He wouldn't open the door.
  In shock she lets loose, while being dragged into the abyss of the warm-hole, not knowing what she is going to encounter in there.
  ~~~
  Do you want to know who the person on the inside is? Because trust me, it's more unpredictable than you think. But what is going to happen to Heather afterwards?
  There's only one way to find out...

Atlantis Academy: The First Element by AutumnKalquist
55 parts Complete
Five Star Reviews for Atlantis Academy: "Omg this book was amazing I couldn't put it down or stop reading. I carried it with me open on my phone while I did everything just to keep reading. I need more of all of this. Epic story, epic content, epic visuals, just epic. LOVE THIS!" "Once I got into this story, I did not stop reading it. This is a beautiful story about a very awkward girl who is riven with so much pain and angst and yet... this makes her who she is and shapes her into the person she will become. The world she finds herself awakened to is magical and yet filled with the all-too-familiar cliques and tribes of the very human people who inhabit it. One word to describe the story: beautiful!" "The story pulls you headlong to the end and leaves you wanting to shout "No! Not yet!" ...If there were 6 stars, I would have given it that." *** Humanity is one secret society away from extinction. The children of Atlantis use magic to keep us safe. If they make it through the Academy. Hi, I'm Lyric. And I'm kind of a mess. ADHD, that's me. I'm a high school drop-out, late everywhere I go, and one screw-up away from being homeless. I'm a loner, and I like it that way. Who needs friends when you have a Redwood forest nearby? Trees never bully me like the kids did at school. Or get drunk and throw things at my head. After my mom died, I figured life couldn't get much worse. I thought it might even get better. Ha. The universe has a great sense of humor. I should've listened to the rumors about evil spirits. About the angry, ancient magical creatures haunting our small Oregon Coast town. But did I? No. That was my first mistake. And it might be my last. 'Cause now I'm in a battle for my life. A whole new world has opened up... a magical world I don't understand. And the blood in my veins says I belong here. But I have to prove myself to save myself. And when have I ever done that?
Crash Landing by The_Autistic_Writer
35 parts Complete Mature
*Book #1 In The Crashing Series* A long time ago, people used to think that Earth would be taken over by aliens. That we would all be destroyed from their advanced technology and uncaring demeanor towards Earthlings and our entire mass population in general. That we would be picked off like mice in a locked maze, all fighting to save ourselves, all trying to get to the cheese that was freedom. But we didn't know that the only thing that would destroy us would inevitably be ourselves. We didn't know that our planet was dying before our very eyes and our countries were at constant war with each other, each fighting for more power. More money. More everything. We didn't know....Until it was too late. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Set in the year 2655, Earth has been completely demolished by poverty, famine and war, leaving nothing behind but a handful of survivors and most of the population relocated to space stations. Onboard the Celestial, one of the main stations in the galaxies, is 21 year old Mabel "Mae" Minerva. Forced to board the Celestial as a child many years ago along with her younger sister, Mae has always felt out of place in the galaxy, always preferring to spend her time rebuilding old space equipment then seeking the company of other humans. Though when a rumor is spread that her mother may be alive back on Earth, Mae springs into action to steal an armored spacecraft in hopes to save her mother from an unnatural death back on Earth. But when her miscalculations and malfunctioning ship takes her off course, she crash lands on a planet deemed to be uninhabitable. Until she meets an alien who burns hotter then the sun and who knows too much, and too little, about her kind.
Kelly Titan by RobertHelios
1 part Complete Mature
Kelly Titan is the beginning of a science fiction universe where the reader will explore the origin story of a supervillain with a mental disorder and a deep understanding of AI programming. However, many antagonists start their journey as someone good, but the perspective will change over the course of the series, later to experience the story from Kelly's new perspective as the story's villain. The reader will get the chance to explore why good people turn bad, and why bad people turn good, and the reasons behind it. It stars an orphan tomboy named Kelly Titan, an advanced computer scientist with the brains over brawn to her advantage. She was taken from the streets of Earth at a young age to a mining planet, Quill, to work on a project she never knew the real purpose for. Soon she became a part of a new family and gained a purpose. What she didn't know was that she was working on a next generation overwatch system called Olympus. A system keeping millions of people trapped on Quill, never to return back to Earth. All given the promise of a high reward. Instead, they were all fooled and became slaves under Olympus watching eye. Millions of humans became stranded on the red desert planet, only to extract fuel back to Earth. Kelly will understand that what she helped to created wasn't just a overwatch system, it was the very foundation of which a new kind of slavery was built on. An intergalactic treadmill to drain Earth from the unwanted. Upon deeper discovery, Kelly will find herself in the middle of an alien civil war that the humans have started and funded to keep the fear amongst the colony workers. Kelly will be given the opportunity to become the bridge between the humans and the natives, but in order to become the bridge and save a planet from oppression, she has to go against her own creation, her own family.

26 parts Complete Mature
Tristan is a Quiz Bowl star. Vyrsa is from the stars. But is their interstellar romance written in the stars? *** Following a successful heist on a rival planet, Princess Vyrsa just needs to step through the Portal of Wishes to be brought straight back to her home planet Isola. But when Vyrsa steps through the portal, she finds herself on Earth, a primitive planet in a forgotten corner of the universe, with no means to return home. After having spent the night studying for an upcoming Astronomy test, galaxies, planets, and asteroids are on Tristan Conway's mind as he drifts into dreams. So he's unfazed when a strange glittering woman suddenly appears in his dorm room, convinced she's nothing but a figment of his imagination. When he finds her in his kitchen the next morning, eating his textbooks and befriending his cat, he's not so sure anymore. With no fancy alien tech at her disposal, Vyrsa will need Tristan's help to return to her faraway home planet. Ecstatic to be part of a plot reminiscent of the space movies he loves, Tristan throws himself wholeheartedly into the mission. After studies of possible fuel sources turn into Netflix binging beside her endearing host, Vyrsa's resolve to leave weakens. Maybe she'll just stay with Tristan a little bit longer... Surely nothing bad could come from it? Unless the owners of the artifact she stole figure out where she went and decides to obliterate the whole planet where she's hiding just to punish her, of course. *** This is an ONC Novella using prompt #18: You step through a magical portal thinking it's the way back home, but what you find isn't what you expected. This story is completed.
I Don't Seem So Bright in a Well-Lit Room by Sean_Browning
36 parts Complete Mature
"This book speaks to anyone with a neurodivergent brain, that may feel like an alien here on earth. I swear Browning made me laugh and cry and question reality...sometimes all in the same sentence." -JD Todd, author The universe is a very strange place. It will take even stranger heroes to save it. Potto is dim-witted, extremely forgetful and incredibly naïve. He wasn't always this way. Aye-Aye is devilishly shrewd and has boozed his way into a comfortable existence of incompetence and sleaze. How they ended up being two of the most wanted aliens in the galaxy is anyone's guess. Chased down by every oddball bounty hunter in the known universe, and befriended by a libidinous assassin, a fire-breathing reptilian, and a telepathic tree, their misadventures take them past Earth (the mall planet), to a floating sex circus, a planet of killer stuffed animals, an underground spaceship impound lot, and to a planet of reasonably priced bungalows. All while flying around in a ship powered by the brain waves of a psycho killer. A great prophecy proclaims that only "one of light, and one of dark" can save the universe from the dictatorship of The Node. That can't be Potto and Aye...Potto doesn't know what the word prophecy means, and neither know how to spell it. Part sci-fi epic, part absurd dark comedy, I Don't Seem So Bright in a Well-Lit Room is a comment on human behavior, depression, anxiety, and self-esteem. But way more fun than that sounds. So, do up your space seatbelts...it's going to be a bumpy ride. Despite the lack of potholes in space. (Sci-fi /Dark Humour/Absurd) *Completed! Enjoy!
