America is a young nation, this much is true. Two-hundred forty-one have passed since the Declaration of Independence was formed. Even with such a young age, the nation's history has been filled with so much blood-shed, so many lives lost all for the thought- nay, the promise of freedom.
America embodies all feelings of his people, but Alfred F. Jones feels nothing but sadness.
