Barry, Barry, Barry. what have you gotten yourself into now? Sure, you've considered a life of crime. Who wouldn't in your position? But letting a villain do something like this... You've finally gone off the deep end.

Barry is full of self doubt, self consciousness, self loathing.(which comes in after like.. chapter 10) Of course he would think it was him that messed things up, that he was to blame. It takes the villain to show him that he doesn't have to be responsible for the past. And not everything is his fault

Don't get me wrong, I know how to bang in the good ol' M rating, and yeah, they get around to it, but don't think that's all this story is.
