Tigerstar had combined Shadowclan and Riverclan long ago, and attacked Windclan in order to get a message across. Instead of choosing to fight, Windclan and Thunderclan decide to join forces with Tigerclan, completing his goal when Tigerstar strips Firestar of all nine lives.
Scourge chose to fight Tigerstar over breaking his agreement, but Tigerclan had gotten bigger and better. Scourge swore to return, but hasn't been seen since.
