This day couldn't get any better or so she thought.
Isabella Stone is 17 and goes to Lockhart high school she isn't popular, but everybody in school refers to her as a sweetheart. She lost her mother to cancer four years ago and her dad is an alcoholic who beats her every single day. She's never told anybody that her dad beats her not even her best friend Nicole Foster. She could've ended her life years ago, but she made a promise to her mom she thought she would never break until that one horrible night that changed everything.
Justin Steele is 18 and he's the most popular guy in Lockhart high school. He's known as the "bad boy" in school because he always gets in trouble for stupid things, but what nobody really knows is that he is in the mafia with his dad. Every girl wants to be with him, every girl wants to change him out of his player ways, but not Isabella. He's tried for so many years to get Isabella to date him, but she turns him down every time. He tries again and she finally talks to him. They start getting closer and he feels himself falling for her until that horrible night that changed everything.
