When the mist first appeared nobody suspected it would lead to humanity's downfall. Or that the last pieces of civilization would crumble. Many people had been awaiting this dark time. It was what they called 'the apocalypse'. Beforehand, talk of the apocalypse loomed amongst churches. There were those, of course, who did not foresee it. They were the ones who thought of the occurance as merely an apocalypse. Stephanie Watson was not much of a church-goer and was frankly apathetic about the havoc that would soon be wreaked. In all honesty, she did not even think it would happen at all. The thought just seemed rather absurd.
Rumour had it that believers as well as the pure would disappear In the blink of an eye, leaving all but themselves behind. There were several other rumours. One being that when the end arrived we would know. Natural disasters would occur world-wide. Famine, drought, floods, the lot. But none of that happened. What happened was far beyond what anyone could have expected. Humanity was brought to it's knees.

BOOK 2 After chaos destroyed, America fell into pandemonium and there was no communication with the U.S. After a pandemic crisis on the East coast, most civilization was abandoned near the Atlantic Ocean. After that, the world slowly began to fall to pieces and almost every country made a scramble to figure a way to make space travel easier so they could colonize a planet. But a new leader came out of the ashes and proclaimed they would consider the apocalypse a "rebirth" and proceeded (with his advanced engineering) to clear radioactivity from America and make it livable again. With the help of his crew, he builds a high security city and begins to build out past the east coast. Shortly after he rebuilds NY, he disappears and his advisor rises to power. He is a fair but cruel master (calling himself a Lord) and some people refuse to work for him. These people manage to escape the oppression of the Lord and live out on the wasteland that was once a great country. Some band together to make right communities and others rough it out by themselves, scavenging for a living.Concluida

Hello, this story is not good. It was written by a depressed young tween who didn't understand what an abusive relationship is. I'm only keeping it up because it's my only completed book. Take everything a grain of salt. Then she met Dillon he was gorges, tall, strong, and everything Alaska was not. Dillon was a werewolf and next in line for Alpha position of Black Blood Pack. Dillon hates his mate and waiting tell he is old enough to reject her. He dose what he can, ignores her, forgets her, because she is nothing but a pathetic human. Or so she thought... . . . "Get out of my head!" He yelled at me. I stood my ground, because I was here and was not leaving. "What's your problem with me?" I hissed. "Your weak, ugly, pathdic, little human, who I could kill so easily. Unfortunately for me I can't reject you yet!" I didn't know what reject meant I knew it was bad, by the way the silent room went quite. "Well I may be ugly, I may be pathdic, and you know what I'm a weak little human. I may not be able to kill you, you can make my life hell, go ahead, do it. You can hate me with every bone in your body. But if you think for a moment I care your wrong." The world descended into chaos, in what people defined as the apocalypse. Like all their favorite characters in the books, two little boys set out on an adventure. They encountered villains, floods, earthquakes, strange animals, and mischievous plants-was the world really this difficult to navigate? What about their home? Will they reach it at the end of their adventure? ... While the world was unwelcoming, filled with the darkest lows in human history, a safe haven was built to welcome the abandoned twins. This haven held their favorite sweets, soft blankets, and heroes that descended from their cartoon books-the heroes who would later kneel before them, declaring their unyielding love. This is a story with characters who were originally from far away, from other stars. They fell to Earth and took form and life in it. The development holds more than life in an apocalyptic world and teaches about destiny, in which their "heroes" will await. ---

Everything started in 2036. The pollution was so bad that the end of the world was predicted to be right around the corner. As complete panic set in around the world, the rich and important people were all gathered and placed on giant spaceships with enough resources and room to house generations of human beings. Before they left though, the government leaders fired As a result, most of the human population died off and earth was a complete wasteland. The little that survived started building local communities and trying to survive in the destroyed excuse of a planet. On the disaster of a planet, creatures mutated and were born out of the nuclear chemicals; creating new species and monsters that hunted humans. While hundreds and hundreds of years passed, the monsters kept evolving and the people kept adapting while still trying to keep a sort of community. They didn't want to lose all of their humanity and become nothing more than animals that hunted the monsters: then they would truly be no better than the monsters themselves. So they stayed civil while still doing what it took to survive.Concluida

"shit" The young girl makes eye contact with the stranger across the street before taking off into the dark forest behind her. She runs as fast as she can, dropping her previously important cargo in her desperation to get the river. She know she can't out run him for long, but she has to get her family's scent off her. She knows that he could hunt down her family because she dared to love another. She'd seen the horrors of those found to be like her, in love with another. She knew she wouldn't be able to live with herself if the monster chasing her hurt her family. The river comes into view when a bone curling growl sounds throughout the forest, shaking the trees. A few more seconds she thinks to herself, almost there. At the last step she jumps, flinging herself into the water. Frantically she scrapes at her skin to get their scents off, but knowing she can't be caught de-scenting she starting swimming down stream. Better to be caught running than them thinking you have something to hide.

In a world with no sun and bloodthirsty creatures roaming the all consuming dark, the only places still safe are the small compounds that managed to get walls up before all came crashing down. Now, life is simple. Stay inside the walls, and you'll stay alive. It's not relatively easy anymore, though. With no one for company but each other, danger lurking only a few yards away from their homes, and half of their loved ones swept away in a mysterious event known only as 'The Vanishing', the morale of the populous is at an all time low. It's only getting worse for some, as their cities that are supposed to be providing for them are failing to do so. Survivors Wesly and Valentine aren't content with this, however, especially since Val's mother desperately needs life-saving medicine that the city just won't send. With no other options, the two journey outside the wall to study the monsters beyond, selling the information they find to the city in exchange for their support. While dangerous, they manage the task fine until one journey out they stumble across a disturbing, gruesome revelation that reveals not only more about the city, but the end of the world as a whole.
