Jennifer and Phoenix Element are sisters, close as twins, but with a one year age difference who moved to Britain from New Zealand at nine and eight years old. (Mom; British. Dad; Kiwi/South African.) When a strange looking old lady with black hair and spectacles turns up on their doorstep saying that Jennifer is a witch and must go to a magic school called Hogwarts, Phoenix is left alone till Jennifer comes home at the end of her year with a letter for Phoenix. Their lives turn upside down, as it soon turns out that both of them are witches. Insane adventures unfold over the next seven years, as there is never a dull year at hogwarts.
