The New York Impact

New York has always given the world its greatest heroes - Spider-Man, Captain America, and Miguel Hale, more commonly known as Arsenal. No matter how strong the villains have grown over the years, the superheroes have gotten stronger...until half of them drop off the map.

After coming out of private therapy to save his sight which only half reappeared, Miguel returns to New York to find that his entire team has dispersed - some resigning, one retiring, one just disappearing entirely. I guess they couldn't last a month without their leader.

But with the majority of the city's heroes gone from the life of crime-fighting, the American Heroes Association is hunting for any possible replacements. Any possible replacements...including apparent super who was only recently seen in Central Park, Silence.

With a new assignment to recruit the hero who hardly knows who xe is xemself, Miguel has to balance being a returning hero to the spotlight and a mentor to someone who has little interest in actually saving the city.

But thing's are a-changing when they learn why most every other hero has left the business.
