Todoroki Shouto never wanted to become a trainer. He didn't want to have to force Pokemon to fight until they couldn't anymore. But that choice was not his.
Midoriya Izuku always wanted to be the best, or at least have a shot at it. But with a certain disability, it was nearly impossible. Being blind wasn't easy.
And Bakugou Katsuki just hated everyone and everything no matter what... Except a certain red-head...

"I know ok?!" - Izuku screams, he never screams. Shōto flinches and fights the instinct to cover his ears as he stays put with his back against the bedroom door. Fuyumi frowns with the headphones in her hands, ready to place them over his ears, but for once Shōto wants to know. "He's not special! He's just-" - the sentence stops, Inko warns him to stop as it often happens and somehow Shōto wishes Izuku wouldn't stop. He needs to hear it, he needs someone to say that word. "I'm your son, you birthed me, and still I'm never a priority..." - Izuku says and his voice breaks. It's quieter this time. Shōto opens the door and takes a tentative step outside, not really knowing why: maybe to confront Inko, or maybe to comfort Izuku. The entrance door slams and he's faced with only Inko. She looks at him with so much guilt she might as well just have killed a man. "I'm sorry..." - she says and Shōto doesn't understand what she's actually sorry about. ~ To sum it up: Tōya decided to run away from his abusive household with his sibling.
