From nerd with one friend to Mr. Popular and king of Maroon County Drama club, Michael Rivera now has it all. Friends, admiration, lead roles. 
From nerd with one friend to...nerd with no friends and now a reputation for being a stoner, all Ben Rochester wants is to have his best friend back. 
After a school fight resulting from the traumatic events of a party, Ben is deemed 'on probation' by the school, and is offered either suspension, or helping with the mid-term play. 
He takes the latter, being welcomed into 'The Thespian Society'. And who better to welcome him and show him the ropes than his ex-friend, Michael Rivera? An ex-friend that he may be a little gay for.
