Skylar Thornburg has lived on her family farm all her life. She's  never been anywhere else in her whole life and although she loves her town and farm she wonders whats out there for her to discover. Her life is pretty grand until her parents die in a car crash leaving her and her 7 year old brother to live with her grandparents. To put the icing on top of the cake a boy named Ashton, a family friend of her fathers, is sent to the farm by his parents in hope of changing is act. The rich family friend promises Skylar a large payment if Ashton returns home a changed boy. Skylar puts up with Ashton and mentors him and soon they become something more. But when the year is up will she have changed him? Will she have succeded and gotten the money she needs for college? Find out in A Change.
