As long as the heavens can recall, Hades has been the most feared and isolated of the gods. That title is challenged when two fellow goddesses offer him a deal.
In exchange for his protection, and cooperation is the hand of the only woman with the heart to love him. However, her mere existence breaks an oath made to none other than Zeus himself. Is the heart of the altruistic demigod Lydia worth the betrayal to the King of the gods?
Not only must they shield themselves from the laws of Olympus, but its enemies as well.

Will the demigod born of sin and the King of the Underworld find solace with each other, or will the battle that awaits bring them nothing but shattered hope?

In this retelling of the Hymn of Demeter, mother and daughter will do whatever it takes to free themselves, no matter the cost. Book I of The Triple Moons' Chronicles * Up in the sky, in a world between myths and lies, lives a daughter caged on an island. She is Persephone. Many forget that the goddess of love was born from the raging sea, but she would do anything to protect her daughter. Adora was Aphrodite's last daughter. Her mother kept her hidden. But, her mother isn't the only one who can keep a secret, especially in a world where your role in society is everything. For there was a prophecy long before she was born: 'Aphrodite's last child would be the one to take the throne, Her paternity unknown. They would carve her face and never forget, for she would be the most beautiful that they had met Cursed for the same fate as her mother Forced to leave her love for another The only way she shall break this curse is if she defeats the first' "Looks like the princess doesn't need saving after all." He says, quietly enough that no one else would hear, as he draws his hand away from my arm. I glare back at him. "Maybe she never did," I walk away, not sparing a single glance back, no matter how much my body was begging me to. I fuss over my hair, pouting as I run my fingers through it to put it back into place. *A warning note* I am not an expert on Greek Mythology, but it interests me greatly. Please excuse any inaccuracies in the book, but if there are any please do message or comment it and I will see if I can change it without making such a huge difference to the plot. Also, my main character is autistic and the experience will be different for everyone. I have tried my hardest to put down on paper how I feel and how I believe others see me. So, please be respectful about the decisions my characters make as I have chosen to give them many different types of neurodivergent brains. I have tried my best to represent these in the most accurate light whilst not romanticising them.

Isolation can be devastating. But love...can destroy everything around you. For Persephone, isolation is being kept under the suffocating gaze of her mother, treated like a child and forbidden from interaction with her own kind or the mortal people under her care. For Hades, isolation is a deadly gift, a silent and lifeless kingdom that he alone rules -- and that cuts him off from all that he would consider family. But when the winds of chance throw two love-starved souls together, it heralds the end of the universe as they know it.... #1 in HadesxPersephone (09/18/22) #2 in Persephone (09/27/22)
