Meet 18 year old, Ali Reed. She was smart, beautiful and very caring and loving. She lived within the dorms at John Hopkins University with her best friend, Alissa Val.
However she didn't see herself as a beautiful young lady. All she saw was a 'disgusting fat pig'. She wanted to die. She wanted to leave. Just to fall asleep and never wake up again.
Meet 20 year old, Manu Hart. He was handsome, smart, and pretty much known as a 'player'. Everyone adored him. Girls would fall head over heels for him and let's just say the boys would be jealous but would still show respect to him.
He was perfect and living the life he has always wanted. And he still wanted more and more. His life was drama free and he had no one to worry about expect for himself and ones he cared about. He had everything he wanted.
Until one day, they are both assigned to work together for a project.

The A Team: A Novella
I lost someone dear to me in the midst of the Heroin Epidemic hitting MA in the last 3 years that spurred me to write The A Team. It is a reference to Ed Sheeran's song. This story was my grieving process. Without it, I'd be in a maelstrom of emotions that I wouldn't know what to do with. Also, my favorite band, Fall Out Boy, has a physical copy of this story. I gave it to them this past summer at a Meet & Greet in Mansfield, MA for the Boys of Zummer tour. I'd probably bawl my eyes out if I ever hear that they read it, but I don't want to hold out too much hope. They are my second form of coping with anything, and their music gave me the drive to even write the novella. Here's the description: What does it mean to truly learn to love your life again? Have you ever met someone who alters the course of your life? For good or for bad, they've come in, given and taken, and then- BOOM! Your life was never the same. I think that's why we're still trying so desperately to get back to some sort of normalcy.
