The end of the world has happened, an unknown virus has swept the earth, eliminating the weak from the strong. All laws and rules have flown out the window, humans have become savages and fighting for their own survival.
Chey is a survivor of the outbreak, wandering around the deserted city of Atlanta after losing both her parents and her brother. As a young girl she seeks help from strangers, trusting that there is still faith in humanity after witnessing the undead feast on eachother.

A/N: Chey's backstory on what happened after she fled her farm. It's not compulsory to read all of Fury before this but the prologue may be useful to understand where Chey is. This is sort of a short prequel/sequel kinda book, not necessary but it explores Chey's background which is what I want to achieve.

Lauren is in her worse state of mind after losing everything she's ever loved and gets to meet Rick in his scariest state of survival also, relating to him more than anyone else in the group having done the same things as Rick to survive at all costs. I do not own The walking dead characters or scenes, only characters I made up outside of the cast. If i accidentally stole ideas from anyone it was not on purpose; I haven't read any twdfanfic. I just opened wattpad and started clacking lol It will not go word for word as the show or comics, it will only have the characters. It's like an alternate universe with my own character.
