Horus, Lord of the air and kingship, cursed by another god with the help over others has had his powers taken away. Not only his wings and gifted sight but he is cursed to be as a mortal. Hathor, the goddess of love however gave Horus a way to escape the curse. To fall in love with a mortal, not just nay mortal though. One pure of heart, pure of mind and pure of spirit.

Centuries have gone by and all Horus can do is wait inside of his temple for any mortal to find him for if he steps outside of his temple he will begin to age and die. His uncle, Set no doubt in Horus mind that he was the cause of the curse watches Horus and his temple carefully to make sure that the god of the sky never flies again so Set can remain in power.

Having loved Egypt for most of her life, Dasia Stephens goes on a long overdue trip to the country she had dreamed about ever since she was a child. To see the temples and pyramids up close to her is a dream come true. Walking in the same places where Pharaohs once walked was something she couldn't ever imagine herself doing until she finally arrived in Egypt.

Never in her wildest dreams did she imagine that a tour inside one of the temples would lead her to a worlds far beyond her knowledge. There she meets someone she believes not only doesn't exist but doesn't believe he is who he claims to be, Horus.

~This is a complete work of fiction. I do not own the rights to Horus or any of the Ancient Egyptian gods. Just enjoy the story.~

Get out your popcorn, tourists beware, here comes a paranormal adventure with a historical twist, set in Egypt--and Britain. From Chapter 29 'Darkness': 'Did I just try to dive into that goo to get at a dead guy?' Trueth asked. Define dead,' Metjen said with a half-smile. He muttered something and touched Trueth on the forehead. The rest of her giddiness faded away--only to return as Metjen crushed her in one of his bearhugs. 'For a moment I thought we would lose you. Don't do that again.' Trueth's cheeks burned. That could only be the caffeine. The stuff had never agreed with her. 'It wasn't my idea, there was a voice in my head!' *** Trueth hates being the last paranormal creature left on Earth. She needn't worry: On a trip to Egypt she runs into Metjen Al-Nour, magical member in the last temple of the sun god Ra. With sparks flying between them--not only those of the magical variety--they solve a 5000-year-old riddle where clues are literally buried in tombs, historical sites--as well as in the family safe. But their journey is far from over - where other stories end, this one really takes off... . The second novel in the trilogy, 'Cursed Times - Only Yesterday!', is completed, and 'In My Attic' - a spin-off to the world of Cursed Times is available with weekly updates. === Copyright information, given the recent acts of content piracy: All copyrights of the texts are mine exclusively.
